Pupung Purnawarman
Instructional Design and Technology Fellow
Pupung Purnawarman is an Instructional Design and Technology fellow at CIDER. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology at Virginia Tech. His research interests are on Distance Learning, Learning Technologies, Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language, Assessment and Feedback in Writing and Language Instruction, and Youth Leadership. He earned a B.A. in English Education from Indonesia University of Education and taught at the same univeristy for seven years. He obtained a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale under the Fulbright scholarship in 2004. Prior to joining CIDER, he served as a graduate assistant at Instructional Technology Computer Lab, at the Information Technology Service Unit (ITSU), and as an Information Technologist and Webmaster at the Center for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching. He is very excited to be a part of CIDER.
