Curt Gervich

Faculty Development Fellow


Curt is a doctoral candidate in Virginia Tech's School for Public and International Affairs where he studies environmental policy and planning. His dissertation research addresses conflict management in the environmental sector. He frequently works with government agencies, non-profit organizations, private firms in natural resource industries and community groups. Prior to attending Virginia Tech Curt worked for the Etowah Habitat Conservation Plan and University of Georgia, where he helped several local governments in Georgia come into compliance with the Endangered Species Act. Curt received a Master's Degree in Natural Resource Planning from the University of Vermont in 2004. Curt is also a very proud new father.
