The Critical Role of Faculty and Staff in Identifying Threat and Preventing Campus Violence

This event is specifically designed for faculty members and GTA's to learn how to recognize and refer concerning behaviors. FSG Report on the First-Year Experience

The Faculty Study Group (FSG) on the First-Year Experience recently submitted their final report to CEUT: Virginia Tech's First-Year Experience: Principles for Undergraduate Student Success. The members of the First-Year Experience FSG, Kimberly Brown (Director, University Academic Advising Center/University Studies), Therese Lovegreen (Associate Director, University Academic Advising Center/University Studies), James Penven (Associate Director of Residence Life), Marlene Preston (Assistant Professor, Department of Communication), Karen Eley Sanders (Associate Vice President for Academic Support Services) and Karen Watson (Director of Academic Support, College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences), recently presented the report to Mark McNamee, David Ford, and Bob Jones and the QEP Committee.
